. In France I fell in love with the medieval buildings in quaint villages and town. The French and Norwegian landscape touched me deeply. I also love to paint water and when I look at the whole of my paintings, I am surprised how many include a lake, river or ocean. Recently I was again drawn to the Maine coast, my third time there. Peace and calm are often associated with life giving water.
